A seven day, six night program: Select either June 8-14 or June 15-21, 2008Hawaii: Building peace through diversity Learn to see through the eyes of Hawaii's people that diversity can mean strength and that tolerance does lead to harmony. Service projects and tours will take you from Honolulu's Chinatown to Pearl Harbor, from Coconut Island to urban projects and from the oldest Catholic Cathedral west of the Rockies to the Buddhist temple of Kuan Yin. Tour option: a day in Blessed Fr. Damien's beloved Moloka'i.
Tuition below includes six nights lodging in the dormitory (double occupancy), ground transportation, all breakfasts, lunches and three dinners, service trips,
tour entry fees, lectures, class materials, donations to service projects and certificate of attendance.Director: Mae Mendelson, Ph.D. Professor of Intergenerational Studies, in Residence, Chaminade University of Honolulu. Tuition: $960.00 for seven day, six night program with dormitory room. Tuition with Waikiki Hotel option: $1073 (double room). Deposit due with application. Final payment due May 31, 2008. |
