| GERMANY MULTI-CITY STUDY TOUR REGISTRATION | FLYER WITH ITINERARY
Join us in Germany for a learning intergenerational holiday in three cities - Berlin, Dresden and Halle - from June 1-June 7, 2008. Using the theme, "The Intergenerational Country", participants will receive
an overview of the demographic, political and sociological context that makes it possible for people in Germany to enjoy national intergenerational practices and programs. Visits will include a Multigenerational
House in Berlin that is one of 500 multigenerational day centers within a national program of Germany and a Senior Partner in School within the national program of Intergenerational Volunteer Service. In
Dresden, participants will visit the Media Culture Center, Intergenerational Radio and IG 13, Februar 1945, a school project that comes to terms with the past. In Halle, participants will visit an art academy
and a mutual living, learning and support house for all generations. Tour participants are encouraged to present their own papers and programs during the trip. Also included is the cost of the continuing
education credits (4.5) from The Pennsylvania State University and the consultation to assist participants in the creation of their own intergenerational programs once you return home.
Cultural highlights include a candlelight dinner and boat trip on the River Spree in Berlin, a city tour of Dresden and a concert featuring Handel's "Messiah" as part of the International Handel-Festival in
Halle. Costs for these events are included in the study tour.Cost for this study tour is $1785. For participants who do not need continuing education credits, the cost of the tour is $1750. Accommodations, most meals, travel costs by train within Germany, cultural events, seminars and site visits are included. Tour hosts are the University of Halle - Faculty Sociology, Dialogue of Generations - Berlin, and the University of Dresden. Participants may pay using a chargecard (Paypal-online), direct deposit or check. If interested, a deposit of $100 is required by April 10th, 2008.
